Trustees

Additional trustees

Unpaid role.

The Grange Park Centre is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the Charities Commission (1157806), and as such the Trustees help steer the charity towards its goals.

Following the completion of the construction of the centre in October 2019, we opened our doors in January 2020 to then be closed by the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.

Having weathered the lockdowns, and appointed a new Operations Manager, we are now looking for new trustees to join the Grange Park Centre charity to help into the next phase. It’s an exciting time after waiting for many years to be finally open then reopen after lockdowns to reopen the doors to The Arc!

Trustees are an essential part to running the charity, each bring different skillsets whether financial, management, education, fund raising, technology or practical skills. We are looking for individuals who can bring these skills to the team to help oversee the building and deliver a number of projects into the community over the next 2-3 years.

We are looking for 2-3 Trustees to help steer the charity in the next phase. You will be required to attend Trustee meetings (2hrs) every month. You’ll be responsible for helping make decisions for the use of the building, guiding the policies and helping ensure the centre engages with the local community and keeping an overview of the financial decisions.

The Charities Commission have produced a helpful guidance document detailing the key duties of all trustees of charities in England and Wales, and what trustees need to do to carry out these duties competently.

If you’re interested in working as part of a team to help make an impact into the community, then please download the expression of interest form then email us and we will be in touch to arrange a convenient time to talk about the role in more detail.
